There is a PNG enclosed that is larger and has more detail so that you can resize if you wish or use "as-is".
The .ICO file is delivered in 256, 128, 64, 48, 32 and 16 byte formats.
The .ICNS file is available for Mac OS/X
The .HQX file is available for Mac OS/X finder.
The .BMP file is available for Blackbox Desktop and any o/ses that use bitmap icons.
The above image is the largest PNG provided.
The .XWP file is an XWidget making the image come alive. You'll need to install the xwidget engine first to do that. Dynamic resizing, stopwatch and dual clock functionality.
An interesting Regulator Clock Xwidget - more on this soon. NEW VERSION is here, allows you to switch between smooth second hand rotation or standard ticks. If your CPU is underpowered or busy doing other things, you can set it to standard style ticks - this will reduce the timer operation to one second and at the same time reduce CPU usage. On my laptop the clock uses less than 1% when running smooth tick animation. I can have several of these clocks running simultaneously and the os CPU monitor does not register more than 2% CPU usage.
A work in progress - but it functions! The Regulator Xwidget is a pretty Xwidget for your desktop. It is a simple multi-timezone clock. Functional and gorgeous at the same time. I based this Xwidget upon my original U Boat Xwidget clock.
CREDIT: The clock face was created by KJC66, all the other graphics, hands, surround, reflections are mine. KJC66 asked me to create the widget as he wanted a regulator clock of this style. I was happy to oblige.
STATUS: Completed I think. Any bugs please report.
THINGS TO DO: Nothing more than a bug or two, if you find any.
Here is just one more of over 500 steampunk icons and widgets that I have created that will leave your Windows or Mac desktop looking absolutely spiffing. There is a whole set of the little thingies and I must say they do look very steampunk indeed! They really are a suitable replacement for the boring old default icons that come with Rocketdock/ObjectDock &c.
It is a fully working widget. Please feel free to download it.
Running the widget using a javascript engine frees javascript from running only within the captivity of a browser, you will now be able to run these widgets on your Windows desktop as long as you have the correct widget engine installed.
The yahoo widget engine is here http://desktopwidgets.zenfs.com/4.5.2x10a50/ywidgets_sdk_setup.exe . These widgets work with Windows XP SP2-SP3, it has been tested on XP, Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8 and 10.
Xwidget engine is here:

This icon and the others like it will spruce up your desktop and give it a bit of Victorian class. Compatible with MobyDock, ObjectDock, RK Launcher, and your default Windows icons.

If you want any new icons then just ask! I am always open to new (or old) ideas - please leave a comment, these icons are quite hard to do and a nice comment makes my day.
Rocketdock Installation: In the rocketdock folder there is a subfolder called icons. Move these icons into that folder or create a subfolder called steampunk icons and copy them in there. Then you simply change each of your individual icon images to any one of these. Easy enough.
The only condition that I ask for downloading and using is that you leave a little positive feedback. Please leave a message and rate the icons as it is the only payment I get for creating this small desktop addition :D
You may use any of my own images in your own creations but commercially only with my permission. In all other non-commercial cases I require a credit to the original artists using their/my name or pseudonym and a link to their/my sites. With regard to the commercial use of incorporated images from other artists, permission would need to be obtained from the original owner.
Thanks! Do enjoy the icon.
Download there - that's it, just there. Ooh yes, that's lovely, thankyou.
